Brendan H. Buschman is an associate attorney at Kelly & Knaplund, where he specializes in estate planning. Assisting people and their families in planning for their financial futures is a passion for Brendan. He will listen carefully to your vision, and work tirelessly to develop a financial plan that is tailored to your goals.
Brendan served as a judicial intern for the Hon. Cecelia G. Morris, Chief Judge, United States Bankruptcy Court, Southern District of New York. Brooklyn Law School named Brendan a Zaretsky Fellow; as such, he assisted in researching and writing a brief on Recidivism in Chapter 11 Bankruptcy. Brendan also interned, then clerked, for the bankruptcy practice group at Delbello, Donellan, Weingarten, Wise and Wiederkehr in White Plains. He is admitted to practice law in New York and New Jersey.
Brendan is a graduate of Brooklyn Law School, where his writing was published in the Journal of Law and Policy. He is also a Fulbright Scholar and holds an undergraduate degree in German from Hunter College, and a masters degree in English Education from Manhattanville College.
Brendan lives in South Salem, New York with his wife, Jennifer, and their sons, Gerald and Henry. In his spare time, he loves being outdoors. He enjoys hiking, skiing, and boating.
