Brendan H. Buschman is an associate attorney at Kelly & Knaplund whose practice focuses on trusts and estates, divorce and real estate work. Brendan is an experienced estate planning attorney who has helped many families, including those with special needs children, prepare for the future. Brendan also works on matrimonial matters and real estate transactions.
Brendan is a graduate of Brooklyn Law School, where he received the Zaretsky Fellowship for his work in bankruptcy law. His writing was published in the Journal of Law and Policy. He is a Fulbright Scholar. He holds an undergraduate degree in German from Hunter College and a master’s degree in English Education from Manhattanville College. Brendan is admitted to practice law in both New York and New Jersey.
Brendan has a history of public service: he was a public high school English teacher for 10 years and was granted tenure at Ardsley High School in 2015. Brendan lives in Bedford, New York, with his wife, Jennifer, and his three sons, Gerald, Henry and Brendan Jr. He has a passion for the outdoors, particularly hiking, skiing and boating.
